These are a simple push fit plastic rivet that expands and locks securely in position when the centre pin is inserted. The clip fits into an 8mm hole and is most often used by BMW to secure seat back trim panels. It's also used on some models on the lower sill mouldings or side skirts. The clip is a high quality aftermarket part and is identical to the OE fasteners.
