These are side moulding clips used on a variety of BMW E36 3-series models. They are used to hold the exterior bump strips in place that run the length of the car about halfway up on the sides. They are not the only type used so please check the BMW part number or the photo carefully. Different variants and body styles of the E36 use different shaped, but similar looking clips. Each clip includes the rubber mounting grommet that goes into the bodywork.
