This is one of three types of side moulding clip used on the 3rd generation of VW Golf. Each trim moulding uses a different combination of the three clips depending on the model variant. There is a crescent shaped clip and there are two square clips- one with a short stem and one with a long stem. These are the crescent shaped clips.
